Busy July Part I

This post is in reverse chronological order. There is probably a word for that but my fried brain cannot think of it at the moment. I need to post these though or it will never happen. Here goes.

July 17th 9:00pm Head to the drive in. Myself and the kids had only been home 10 minutes when we decided to pack up and have a family adventure. The experience was AWESOME!!!! Brian put our old bed which happens to be a really nice sleep number bed in the back of the truck then loaded it with blankets and pillows. I'm certain we were the most comfortable people there. The kids both slept and Brian and I actually got to enjoy a movie together(My Sister's Keeper). We'll definitely be doing this the rest of the summer.
July 17th 4:30pm Meet up with old roomates at a park in Provo. I hadn't seen Jackie or her kids in over a year and it had been several months since I'd seen Jenny. Ryanna and Quinten had already had a long day but this stop was the final step to seriously wear them out so I had a quiet drive home. It was WONDERFUL to catch up - it doesn't matter how long it has been with some friends, the friendship never changes. Love you girls! At 6:00pm I left Provo and made the long drive home to Vernal, just under 3 hours.
July 17th 10:30am Attend my cousin Greg's wedding at the Mount Timpanogas Temple. I missed my chance to take pictures of the bride and groom because immediately after the ceremony during family pictures outside I ran to a grocery store to get Ryanna some crackers and gatorade. I was seriously unprepared that day and she was dying - hello!! It's summer in Utah.
My family from Montana (minus little Jared) were there and we enjoyed lots of time with them. Ryanna and Quinten get lots and lots of attention when Aunt Kayla and Uncle Nath is around.
My attempt at some cute pics but she was just too plain tired. She was excited though to be at the temple and still asks us when she can go in the temple. In fact, today before church she told me she did not want to go to nursery, she wanted to go to the temple!! It was quite a day - I'll get to that later.
July 10th Evening time Spend the evening and stay the night at Karina and John's home in Timber Lakes. Just check out this cute family. Ryanna had a blast running around with Sam, searching for the Kitty, and watching a princess movie. There is never lack of conversation when we spend time with the Zachary's between asking John medical questions, Bri and Karina talking about teaching, and hearing about the exciting lives of 3 teens and 1 college girl. We had a good time to say the least.
July 10th 3:00pm Take Ryanna out on the lake for her first experience in a boat. This is at the Wardell reunion at the church owned camp above Heber. We spent the late morning visiting with family, hearing about all the fun from the night before, and eating, eating, eating. Bri started the challenge course with a group of cousins/family but Ryanna had a major meltdown so we headed back to camp. Overall we had a fun time, though we missed the bulk of the activities. It's always fun to see my big crazy Wardell family.
Brian and Ryanna are in the boat in the middle of this picture. Because Ryanna was a little scared and wanted Dad to hold her, my poor Uncle Tim had to paddle the three of them with little help from Brian since it was nearly impossible with Ryanna on his lap. I think they still had a good time.
This is from the July 17th trip - just to illustrate that Quinten had a great time too!

Sounds like you've been busy! I was sad I couldn't come see you guys last week but glad to hear you had a good time. I know I say this a lot, but I really wish you lived closer. Cam and Ryanna would have so much fun together, not to mention you and I could enjoy adult conversation... :) Love you!
